A Boston house music legend returns to the dance floor.

Coming Soon!

At 68, Marc Gedansky is the elder statesman of the Boston house music scene. But when the COVID-19 pandemic hits and he undergoes a hip replacement surgery, Marc is forced into isolation, cut off from his community of fellow dancers.

A love letter searching for connection, “Marc 17 In The House” chronicles one man’s return to the dance floor.

A story of exile & belonging

Now, more than ever, in the wake of a pandemic that has kept us apart for so long and wreaked havoc on the live events industry, it’s vital to tell stories that celebrate resilience, the arts, and coming together.

An old man still young at heart

While Marc’s story holds special interest for the house music subculture, it also will resonate with anyone who’s ever had to dig deep, reinvent themselves, find their way back home, or finally admit to themselves “I’m getting too old for this.”
