Sneak-Peek at DOTC

Crowdfund contributors and members of the public are invited to catch a sneak-peek of the film-in-progress at the 7/30/22 edition of “Dancing on the Charles,” the long running summer dance party on the banks of the Charles River in Cambridge, MA. This event is near-and-dear to Marc and many in the Boston house music community so it’s the perfect venue to unveil the film. Several scenes in the film take place there and Marc dreamed of being back dancing at his favorite spot in front of the dj booth during long months or isolation and rehab.

The screening portion of the festivities will kick off at 1PM, followed by a Q&A, cash bar, and open-air dancing until 7PM. John Barera (Sorry Records, Dolly, 2MR) and Brian Abelson (Beats In Space, Lobster Theremin) will be deejaying, playing some choice cuts from the soundtrack they scored for the film and an upcoming album release.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP by writing to marc17film@gmail.com. “Dancing on the Charles” routinely sells out so it’s advised to buy tickets early through the event page on Resident Advisor. For all who want to stay to the end of DOTC (~11PM) there is a separate ticket option for the night portion available for purchase as well.
